We'll be closing early — 7 p.m. — for Halloween on Thursday, October 31st, so that crew members with little goblins can enjoy the evening "Trick or Treating" with them. Please don't drive tonight if you don't have to, so we can all help to keep the streets safe.
A big ole' "THANKS" to all the folks that came in yesterday to sample the new menu items and offer their feedback. It was a great time for us, and we hope you all enjoyed yourselves too. We'd also like to thank Chris Ryan for coming in and providing our guests with samples of his craft beer.
The new menus hit the tables today, and the items we've been working on for a handful of months are ready to meet the public!
Though the menu webpage still has to be fully updated, the PDF version of what we're putting on tables is available HERE!

Smoke & Spice Southern Barbeque will appear on Food Network Canada's show, entitled "You Gotta Eat Here!"
Catch the episode on March 15, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. and again at 9:30 p.m.
Chef/Owner Ryan Odette shows host John Catucci the way we prepare our Smoked Chicken Wings, sauces, Smoked Bologna Sandwich, and the Pulled Pork Sundae. Shooting for the show was a bunch of fun, and we'd like to thank Windsor's Best Customers for supporting us and helping us get to where we have.
Thanks again everybody! We took away three prizes at the Windsor International Air Show "NO BULL" Top Gun Best of the Best Chicken Wing Cook Off
If you haven't tried 'em yet, now you've got three more reasons!
We'd like to extend huge thanks to the folks in our hometown for their support in voting for us as having the Best Ribs at this year's Windsor Ribfest. It was a pretty demanding weekend on the whole crew, given that we were stretched between the festival and the restaurant. We couldn't have done it all without the help of some extended family and friends who gave their time to help us out down at the riverfront. Thanks to everyone who helped us bring home the trophy making Smoke & Spice the place for ribs in Windsor!
WindsorEats.com has posted the results of their "Best of 2011", and thanks to our customers giving us their daily votes, we've won the honour for the second year in a row. It was nice to have Chef David Adjey visit us down at Festival Epicure last month as well, standing at our booth telling folks that we had the "best (expletive) wings anywhere!"
Thanks to all of you. We understand that we can't be a good restaurant without great customers, and we have some of the best to be had anywhere. Thanks for your continued support, and be assured that we'll keep working hard to earn your business.
You might not expect it, but real southern barbecue can be had in the Great White North! Now you can enjoy a treat normally enjoyable only in a handful of southern U.S. states right here in Windsor, Ontario.
Enjoy our slow, wood-smoked ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, and more, in a comfortable, family atmosphere. You'll find other unique offerings, like waffle-cut fries, five different flavours of Pop Shoppe sodas, and a dozen Ontario Craft Brewers' selections of Lagers and Ales. Treat your friends and family to our award-winning barbeque at our place or yours.
From the hours we spend preparing dinner in anticipation of your arrival, to the way we'll treat you like family when you get here, you'll feel the love at Smoke & Spice. We have some of Windsor's most seasoned servers, and they know how to entertain, not just take orders and carry plates. The pros in the kitchen get there early and stay late every day, loading and unloading our thirteen-hundred-pound-capacity wood burning Southern Pride "pit" barbeques. They almost never stops churning out our specialties, but there's just no substitute for real, slow, wood-smoked barbeque!
Our Pit Boss Salad comes topped with your choice of smoked pulled chicken or pulled pork, and is served with our house BBQ Ranch dressing.
