April 10, 2018 – Smoke & Spice owner James Currie and the team present a cheque to the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

Here at Smoke & Spice we believe in giving back to the communities that support us, and the past few months have been busy!

$500 for the Sarnia food bank!

On April 10, we donated more than $500 to the Inn of the Good Shepherd in Sarnia! On the first Wednesday of every month, we invite folks to come eat supper with us from 4pm – 9pm, and we give 10% of our food proceeds to the food bank at the Inn. We call it First Wednesdays, and we’ve had good turnout for our first few nights — here’s hoping it becomes a popular event and that we can give more and more to the food bank each month!

Supporting the Chamber of Commerce

On March 21 we hosted the Business After 5 event for the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce, and we had a fantastic turnout! It was great to see all of the area’s local business people and entrepreneurs gathered together over plates of barbeque. A great evening for meeting and greeting, we can’t wait for our next chance to host!

We wrapped up our first giveaway!
