April 10, 2018 – Smoke & Spice owner James Currie and the team present a cheque to the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
Here at Smoke & Spice we believe in giving back to the communities that support us, and the past few months have been busy!
On April 10, we donated more than $500 to the Inn of the Good Shepherd in Sarnia! On the first Wednesday of every month, we invite folks to come eat supper with us from 4pm – 9pm, and we give 10% of our food proceeds to the food bank at the Inn. We call it First Wednesdays, and we’ve had good turnout for our first few nights — here’s hoping it becomes a popular event and that we can give more and more to the food bank each month!
On March 21 we hosted the Business After 5 event for the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce, and we had a fantastic turnout! It was great to see all of the area’s local business people and entrepreneurs gathered together over plates of barbeque. A great evening for meeting and greeting, we can’t wait for our next chance to host!

March 21, 2018 – Guests gather at Smoke & Spice for the Business After 5 event, which we hosted with the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce. What a great night!
Smoke & Spice is a community restaurant – always has been, always will be. That means we love to whip up some old fashioned home cookin’ for friends and neighbours who love barbeque as much as we do. It also means we love to give back to the community that supports us. Last week, we announced a new partnership with the Inn of the Good Shepherd, right here in Sarnia. Now, whenever you buy a bottle of our epic secret sauce, we’ll give $1 to the Inn. It’s a long-standing tradition here at Smoke & Spice, and we’re thrilled to finally bring it to Sarnia.
We’re also starting a new tradition in Sarnia: First Wednesdays! Come on down March 7 between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., and order up a hawgburger. For every hawgburger we sell, we’ll give $1 to the food bank! Plus! Everyone who eats a hawgburger in March will have the opportunity to buy a ballot for a loonie! We’ll give the loonie right to the food bank, and you’ll be entered to win a $200 prize! It will include a $50 gift certificate from Smoke & Spice, plus awesome gifts from our friends at other local businesses.
